The process begins with a Scope of Work where we detail the floor plan and budget for your project. This is where the vision begins - what items do you need and where will they fit best in your new room.
Once the layout and budget are agreed upon, the fun part begins - specifying items. This is the part where people who have never worked with a designer before occasionally worry. How will I know what my new pieces will look and feel like?
Essentially, Lisa Scheff Designs is a custom window treatments, upholstery and furniture shop-at-home retailer that provides design advice with every purchase and specializes in American-made, custom product. What this means for you is that you never need to run to a store to curate a beautiful, functional and custom home, we bring the store to you.
We will bring fabric and finish samples of almost every item, as well as provide you with life-like digital renderings of the finished room. When your room is finished, you will feel like you walked right off the page of your design board and into the room?
How will you know your new pieces are comfortable? Our team travels to High Point Furniture Market twice a year and sits in all of the pieces we sell. We analyze them for seat height and depth, cushion density and construction and so much more. We take the time to rule out the pieces that aren't comfortable as well as determine a good fit for someone 6ft tall vs. 5ft tall and so much more.
By bringing the retail store to you, you to buy your furniture and window coverings in the room where they will live which allows you to really visualize scale in the space. Don’t make an expensive mistake shopping at a retail store without professional guidance!
